-
What kind of technical support will be available at School?
- Cannon School’s IT Department limits support of personal devices to helping students connect to the Internet on the Cannon School CANNON-PRIVATE network. They will give students advice about any problems they might experience with school-related passwords, etc. Additional help and guidance will be given if students experience problems with commonly used applications such as Microsoft Office. They will not repair devices, but will briefly evaluate and recommend when the student needs to take their device home for repairs. The IT Department maintains a small supply of loaner devices to loan students whose machines are out for repair. Loaner devices are only available for a limited number of days, so students need to repair their machines as quickly as possible.
